Changes to Victoria's fines system and website maintenance

A new administrative body called Fines Victoria is being introduced as part of the Fines Reform Act 2014 commencing on 31 December 2017.
Fines Victoria will be the point of contact for the public to pay or deal with their unpaid fines.
Fines Victoria replaces Civic Compliance Victoria.
During the transition Civic Compliance Victoria's contact centre will operate until 6pm on 22 December 2017 and the new Fines Victoria contact centre will open from 2 January 2018. You can contact Fines Victoria on 1300 369 819.
In the meantime, you can still deal with your fines online at fines.vic.gov.au
As we transition to Fines Victoria, please note that there will be various levels of website maintenance from 23 December 2017 to 2 January 2018.
This means that from 23 December 2017 to 2 January 2018:
- information in Your Fines will reflect your fine's status as at 22 December and your details will be updated on the website on 2 January 2018
- you can still pay your fine at any time, and payments will be reflected on the website from 2 January 2018
- if you pay online, you can request the receipt to be emailed to you for your records
- you can continue to complete online forms to request a review, extension of time, payment instalment, court hearing, or nominate the responsible driver up until 30 December 2017, on 31 December 2017 and 1 January 2018 only, you need to download, complete and send in a form if you wish to request a review, extension of time, payment instalment,court hearing or nominate the responsible driver. The website will resume all services from 2 January 2018.
